Not Martha linked to Shelterrific's post about emergency preparedness and it got me thinking. I used to feel like the most prepared person on the block, but years of weeding thru old Y2K food stashes and general trash-flinging binges have me worried. Never fear - the internet is here. Of course the Red Cross is our friend and has a checklist page as well as a lengthy PDF with all we need to know. Or is it, what about Vegans. Or a minimalist. Or our fluffy friends. And here is the grand-daddy list of lists - even one for SAS.
One item that tops many of these lists are to have a current home inventory. This free software makes this easy - well as easy as to make you get all of your important info together in one place (like its supposed to be). I'm actually kind of excited about this - maybe I'll finally get some spring cleaning done.
