Mothers, rice cookers, and boats

Happy Mothers Day to all the Moms out there! I hope you all get to put your feet up and knit as much as you want today. I hope that my Mom is treated like the queen she is. Or else. (Are you reading this youngest siblings?) Oh, and I hope she doesn't hate my gift.

This is what I wanted for my day - and its SWEET! It will make rice, slow cook, steam and make tofu. WOO HOO tofu!

Today DH went sailing and I took the kids to ride the Rhododendron to Vashon. The ferry was a wonderfully peaceful - except for DS 'talking' to all the surrounding sea life. I'm pretty sure he frightened off orcas 20 miles away. I know he scared off some teenage boys DD way eying. (There are some perks to a hyper kindergartener.) =) DH had a blast sailing and now is pondering a boat of his own. So long as I can fit it in my sedan that will be fine. Maybe I could knit one...=)
